Olafur Eliasson, Danish and Icelandic

The weather project was installed at the London’s Tate Modern in 2003. A fine mist and a bright disc of light changed the weather inside of the Turbine Hall.

He turned in inside of Louisiana in Denmark into a Riverbed in 2014/15

“A circle is like a compass. It leaves navigation to the people who are inside it,“ Eliasson explains. “It is a mistake to think that the work of art is the circle of ice—it is the space it invents.”

He brought pieces of ancient icebergs to Paris. Melting ice is like a timepiece. It records the passing of time. 2015
