A chaque stencil une revolution, 2008, uses the materials of the mimeograph machine — a popular machine for making multiple copies of documents and used in the demonstrations of the 1960s. The artist “papers” the walls with the blue carbon paper and then soaks it with an alcohol solution causing it to drip. The tires reference the fires that often accompany demonstrations. The rich deep blue envelops the gallery visitor.
